महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-3, verse-15

येषु भारं समासज्य राज्ये मतिमकुर्महि ।
ते संत्यज्य तनूर्याताः शूरा ब्रह्मविदां गतिम् ॥१५॥
15. yeṣu bhāraṁ samāsajya rājye matimakurmahi ,
te saṁtyajya tanūryātāḥ śūrā brahmavidāṁ gatim.

saṃtyajya tanūḥ yātāḥ śūrāḥ brahmavidām gatim
15. yeṣu rājye bhāram samāsajya matim akurmahi te

15. Those heroes, on whom we had placed the responsibility for the kingdom and formed our plans for sovereignty, have abandoned their bodies and attained the state (gati) of those who know (brahman).
