महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-86, verse-19

सोऽयं मम जयो व्यक्तं व्यर्थ एव भविष्यति ।
यदि द्रोणो रणे क्रुद्धो निगृह्णीयाद्युधिष्ठिरम् ॥१९॥
19. so'yaṁ mama jayo vyaktaṁ vyartha eva bhaviṣyati ,
yadi droṇo raṇe kruddho nigṛhṇīyādyudhiṣṭhiram.
19. saḥ ayam mama jayaḥ vyaktam vyarthaḥ eva bhaviṣyati
yadi droṇaḥ raṇe kruddhaḥ nigṛhṇīyāt yudhiṣṭhiram
19. yadi droṇaḥ raṇe kruddhaḥ yudhiṣṭhiram nigṛhṇīyāt,
saḥ ayam mama jayaḥ vyaktam eva vyarthaḥ bhaviṣyati
19. This victory of mine will clearly be in vain if Drona, enraged in battle, were to capture Yudhishthira.
