महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-86, verse-17

निगृहीते नरश्रेष्ठे भारद्वाजेन माधव ।
सैन्धवस्य वधो न स्यान्ममाप्रीतिस्तथा भवेत् ॥१७॥
17. nigṛhīte naraśreṣṭhe bhāradvājena mādhava ,
saindhavasya vadho na syānmamāprītistathā bhavet.

17. O Madhava, if the best of men (Yudhiṣṭhira) were to be captured by Bhāradvāja (Droṇa), then Saindhava's slaying would not take place, and I would experience such great displeasure (aprīti).
