महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-48, verse-22

तस्मिंस्तु निहते वीरे बह्वशोभत मेदिनी ।
द्यौर्यथा पूर्णचन्द्रेण नक्षत्रगणमालिनी ॥२२॥
22. tasmiṁstu nihate vīre bahvaśobhata medinī ,
dyauryathā pūrṇacandreṇa nakṣatragaṇamālinī.

dyauḥ yathā pūrṇacandreṇa nakṣatragaṇamālinī

22. But when that hero was slain, the earth shone brilliantly, just like the sky, adorned with a multitude of stars, shines due to the full moon.
