महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-20, verse-22

तस्य नानदतो द्रोणः शिरः कायात्सकुण्डलम् ।
क्षुरेणापाहरत्तूर्णं ततो मत्स्याः प्रदुद्रुवुः ॥२२॥
22. tasya nānadato droṇaḥ śiraḥ kāyātsakuṇḍalam ,
kṣureṇāpāharattūrṇaṁ tato matsyāḥ pradudruvuḥ.

22. While he was still roaring, Drona quickly severed his (Shataneeka's) head, complete with earrings, from his body. Then the Matsya warriors fled.
