महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-167, verse-3

शिखराणि व्यदीर्यन्त गिरीणां तत्र भारत ।
अपसव्यं मृगाश्चैव पाण्डुपुत्रान्प्रचक्रिरे ॥३॥
3. śikharāṇi vyadīryanta girīṇāṁ tatra bhārata ,
apasavyaṁ mṛgāścaiva pāṇḍuputrānpracakrire.

3. O Bhārata, the peaks of the mountains were rent there. And indeed, the animals circumambulated the sons of Pāṇḍu by turning to their left, which is an inauspicious sign.
