महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-167, verse-15

विशस्त्रकवचाश्चान्ये वाहनेभ्यः क्षितिं गताः ।
संछिन्ना नेमिषु गता मृदिताश्च हयद्विपैः ॥१५॥
15. viśastrakavacāścānye vāhanebhyaḥ kṣitiṁ gatāḥ ,
saṁchinnā nemiṣu gatā mṛditāśca hayadvipaiḥ.

saṃchinnāḥ nemiṣu gatāḥ mṛditāḥ ca hayadvipaiḥ

15. And others, disarmed and stripped of armor, fell to the ground from their mounts. Some were utterly cut down by chariot wheels, while others were trampled by horses and elephants.
