महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-167, verse-23

प्रहृष्टलोमकूपाः स्म संविग्नरथकुञ्जराः ।
धनंजय गुरुं श्रुत्वा तत्र नादं सुभीषणम् ॥२३॥
23. prahṛṣṭalomakūpāḥ sma saṁvignarathakuñjarāḥ ,
dhanaṁjaya guruṁ śrutvā tatra nādaṁ subhīṣaṇam.

23. dhanaṃjaya,

23. O Dhananjaya, upon hearing that exceedingly dreadful and mighty sound there, our hair stood on end, and our chariots and elephants became agitated.
