May he perish from his merits acquired through sacrifices and good works (iṣṭāpūrta), and from his warrior's intrinsic nature (kṣātra), and from his brahmanical intrinsic nature (brāhmaṇya) — whoever would release Droṇa today, or whoever turns his back on Droṇa.
