महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-137, verse-2

न ह्यहत्वा रणे शत्रुं बाह्लीकं कौरवाधमम् ।
निवर्तिष्ये रणात्सूत सत्यमेतद्वचो मम ॥२॥
2. na hyahatvā raṇe śatruṁ bāhlīkaṁ kauravādhamam ,
nivartiṣye raṇātsūta satyametadvaco mama.
2. na hi ahatvā raṇe śatruṃ bāhlīkaṃ kauravādhamam
nivartiṣye raṇāt sūta satyam etat vacaḥ mama
2. sūta hi raṇe śatruṃ bāhlīkaṃ kauravādhamam ahatvā
raṇāt na nivartiṣye etat mama vacaḥ satyam
2. Indeed, O charioteer, I shall certainly not return from battle without having killed the enemy, Bāhlīka, that despicable Kaurava. This is truly my word.
