महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-103, verse-48

कच्चिद्भीष्मेण नो वैरमेकेनैव प्रशाम्यति ।
शेषस्य रक्षणार्थं च संधास्यति सुयोधनः ॥४८॥
48. kaccidbhīṣmeṇa no vairamekenaiva praśāmyati ,
śeṣasya rakṣaṇārthaṁ ca saṁdhāsyati suyodhanaḥ.
48. kaccit bhīṣmeṇa naḥ vairam ekena eva praśāmyati
śeṣasya rakṣaṇa artham ca saṃdhāsyati suyodhanaḥ
48. naḥ vairam ekena bhīṣmeṇa eva praśāmyati kaccit
ca suyodhanaḥ śeṣasya rakṣaṇa artham saṃdhāsyati
48. I hope that our hostility will be appeased by Bhishma alone. And will Suyodhana make peace for the sake of protecting the remaining people?
