स तथा संवृतो भीमः प्रहसन्निव भारत ।
उदयच्छद्गदां तेभ्यो घोरां तां सिंहवन्नदन् ।
अवासृजच्च वेगेन तेषु तान्प्रमथद्बली ॥४॥

4. sa tathā saṁvṛto bhīmaḥ prahasanniva bhārata ,
udayacchadgadāṁ tebhyo ghorāṁ tāṁ siṁhavannadan ,
avāsṛjacca vegena teṣu tānpramathadbalī.

4. O descendant of Bharata, Bhīma, thus surrounded and as if laughing, roared like a lion and raised that terrible mace. Then, that powerful one released it upon them with great force, crushing them.
