महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-116, verse-22

संधाय च शरं दीप्तमभिमन्त्र्य महायशाः ।
पर्जन्यास्त्रेण संयोज्य सर्वलोकस्य पश्यतः ।
अविध्यत्पृथिवीं पार्थः पार्श्वे भीष्मस्य दक्षिणे ॥२२॥
22. saṁdhāya ca śaraṁ dīptamabhimantrya mahāyaśāḥ ,
parjanyāstreṇa saṁyojya sarvalokasya paśyataḥ ,
avidhyatpṛthivīṁ pārthaḥ pārśve bhīṣmasya dakṣiṇe.

22. And the greatly renowned Partha (Arjuna), having fitted a blazing arrow (to his bow), having consecrated it with mantras, and having imbued it with the Parjanya missile (astra), pierced the earth on Bhishma's right side, while all people watched.
