महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-116, verse-13

उपभोक्तुं मनुष्येभ्यः शरशय्यागतो ह्यहम् ।
प्रतीक्षमाणस्तिष्ठामि निवृत्तिं शशिसूर्ययोः ॥१३॥
13. upabhoktuṁ manuṣyebhyaḥ śaraśayyāgato hyaham ,
pratīkṣamāṇastiṣṭhāmi nivṛttiṁ śaśisūryayoḥ.

| pratīkṣamāṇaḥ tiṣṭhāmi nivṛttiṃ śaśisūryayoḥ

13. Indeed, I, lying on a bed of arrows, remain here to experience [my final moments] for the benefit of humans, waiting for the passing of the moon and sun (i.e., the winter solstice).
