महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-80, verse-42

इत्युक्त्वा बाष्पसन्नेन कण्ठेनायतलोचना ।
रुरोद कृष्णा सोत्कम्पं सस्वरं बाष्पगद्गदम् ॥४२॥
42. ityuktvā bāṣpasannena kaṇṭhenāyatalocanā ,
ruroda kṛṣṇā sotkampaṁ sasvaraṁ bāṣpagadgadam.
42. iti uktvā bāṣpasannena kaṇṭhena āyatalocanā
ruroda kṛṣṇā sa-utkampam sa-svaram bāṣpagadgadam
42. Having spoken thus, Kṛṣṇā (Draupadi), whose eyes were wide and whose throat was choked with tears, wept loudly with trembling and a voice broken by weeping.
