महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-267, verse-47

प्रतिजग्राह रामस्तं स्वागतेन महामनाः ।
सुग्रीवस्य तु शङ्काभूत्प्रणिधिः स्यादिति स्म ह ॥४७॥
47. pratijagrāha rāmastaṁ svāgatena mahāmanāḥ ,
sugrīvasya tu śaṅkābhūtpraṇidhiḥ syāditi sma ha.
47. pratijagrāha rāmaḥ tam svāgatena mahāmanāḥ
sugrīvasya tu śaṅkā abhūt praṇidhiḥ syāt iti sma ha
47. The great-souled Rama (Rāma) welcomed him. However, Sugriva harbored a suspicion, thinking, "He might be a spy."
