यदि दास्यामि ते मार्गं सैन्यस्य व्रजतोऽऽज्ञया ।

40. yadi dāsyāmi te mārgaṁ sainyasya vrajato''jñayā ,
anye'pyājñāpayiṣyanti māmevaṁ dhanuṣo balāt.

40. If I grant a path to your marching army by my own permission, then others will also compel me in the same way by the might of their bows.
