महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-267, verse-26

केचिन्नौभिर्व्यवस्यन्ति केचिच्च विविधैः प्लवैः ।
नेति रामश्च तान्सर्वान्सान्त्वयन्प्रत्यभाषत ॥२६॥

26. kecit naubhiḥ vyavasyanti kecit ca vividhaiḥ plavaiḥ
na iti rāmaḥ ca tān sarvān sāntvayan prati abhāṣata

26. Some proposed [crossing] by boats, and others by various rafts. Rama, comforting all of them, addressed them, saying, "That is not the way."
