महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-267, verse-33

सागरस्तु ततः स्वप्ने दर्शयामास राघवम् ।
देवो नदनदीभर्ता श्रीमान्यादोगणैर्वृतः ॥३३॥
33. sāgarastu tataḥ svapne darśayāmāsa rāghavam ,
devo nadanadībhartā śrīmānyādogaṇairvṛtaḥ.
33. sāgaraḥ tu tataḥ svapne darśayāmāsa rāghavam
| devaḥ nadanadībhartā śrīmān yādogaṇaiḥ vṛtaḥ
33. But then the Ocean (god) appeared to Rama in a dream, a glorious deity, the lord of rivers and streams, surrounded by hosts of aquatic creatures (yādogaṇa).
