महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-213, verse-6

स शैलं मानसं गत्वा ध्यायन्नर्थमिमं भृशम् ।
शुश्रावार्तस्वरं घोरमथ मुक्तं स्त्रिया तदा ॥६॥
6. sa śailaṁ mānasaṁ gatvā dhyāyannarthamimaṁ bhṛśam ,
śuśrāvārtasvaraṁ ghoramatha muktaṁ striyā tadā.
6. saḥ śailam mānasam gatvā dhyāyan artham imam bhṛśam
| śuśrāva ārtasvaram ghoram atha muktam striyā tadā
6. Having gone to Mount Manasa, he (Indra) was deeply meditating on this matter (artha) when he then heard a terrible cry of distress uttered by a woman.
