40.
The amazing fire god (hutavaha), having been summoned, emerged from the solar orb. The lord (prabhu) Agni (vahni) then came forth, silent and acting ritually, to the āhavanīya fire, into which offerings had been made with mantras by those twice-born (dvijaiḥ).
