महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-213, verse-34

एवं संचिन्त्य भगवान्ब्रह्मलोकं तदा गतः ।
गृहीत्वा देवसेनां तामवन्दत्स पितामहम् ।
उवाच चास्या देव्यास्त्वं साधु शूरं पतिं दिश ॥३४॥
34. evaṁ saṁcintya bhagavānbrahmalokaṁ tadā gataḥ ,
gṛhītvā devasenāṁ tāmavandatsa pitāmaham ,
uvāca cāsyā devyāstvaṁ sādhu śūraṁ patiṁ diśa.
34. evam saṃcintya bhagavān brahmalokam
tadā gataḥ gṛhītvā devasenām tām
avandat saḥ pitāमहम् uvāca ca asyāḥ
devyāḥ tvam sādhu śūram patim diśa
34. Having thus reflected, the revered one (Indra) then went to the world of Brahmā (brahman). Taking that Devāsenā, he bowed to the Grandfather (Brahmā) and said, 'Please properly grant a heroic husband to this goddess.'
