महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-213, verse-49

कामसंतप्तहृदयो देहत्यागे सुनिश्चितः ।
अलाभे ब्राह्मणस्त्रीणामग्निर्वनमुपागतः ॥४९॥
49. kāmasaṁtaptahṛdayo dehatyāge suniścitaḥ ,
alābhe brāhmaṇastrīṇāmagnirvanamupāgataḥ.

alābhe brāhmaṇastrīṇām agniḥ vanam upāgataḥ
49. His heart inflamed with desire, he (Agni) was resolved on abandoning his body. Due to his failure to obtain the Brahmin women, Agni (agni) went to the forest.
