महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-213, verse-5

देवसेनां दानवैर्यो भग्नां दृष्ट्वा महाबलः ।
पालयेद्वीर्यमाश्रित्य स ज्ञेयः पुरुषो मया ॥५॥
5. devasenāṁ dānavairyo bhagnāṁ dṛṣṭvā mahābalaḥ ,
pālayedvīryamāśritya sa jñeyaḥ puruṣo mayā.
5. devasenām dānavaiḥ yaḥ bhagnām dṛṣṭvā mahābalaḥ
| pālayet vīryam āśritya saḥ jñeyaḥ puruṣaḥ mayā
5. That person (puruṣa) is to be recognized by me—he who, being greatly powerful, protects the army of the gods, having seen it shattered by the Dānavas, relying on his valor.
