महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-44, verse-27

इत्युक्तः स तु गान्धार्या कुन्तीमिदमुवाच ह ।
स्नेहबाष्पाकुले नेत्रे प्रमृज्य रुदतीं वचः ॥२७॥
27. ityuktaḥ sa tu gāndhāryā kuntīmidamuvāca ha ,
snehabāṣpākule netre pramṛjya rudatīṁ vacaḥ.
27. iti uktaḥ saḥ tu gāndhārī kuntīm idam uvāca ha
sneha bāṣpa ākule netre pramṛjya rudatīm vacaḥ
27. gāndhārī iti uktaḥ saḥ tu,
sneha bāṣpa ākule rudatīm netre pramṛjya,
kuntīm idam vacaḥ ha uvāca.
27. Having been addressed thus by Gandhari, he (Duryodhana) then said these words to Kunti, after wiping her weeping eyes that were filled with tears of affection.
