महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-44, verse-17

भवन्तं चेह संप्रेक्ष्य तपो मे परिहीयते ।
तपोयुक्तं शरीरं च त्वां दृष्ट्वा धारितं पुनः ॥१७॥
17. bhavantaṁ ceha saṁprekṣya tapo me parihīyate ,
tapoyuktaṁ śarīraṁ ca tvāṁ dṛṣṭvā dhāritaṁ punaḥ.
17. bhavantam ca iha samprekṣya tapaḥ me parihīyate
tapoyuktam śarīram ca tvām dṛṣṭvā dhāritam punaḥ
17. iha bhavantam samprekṣya me tapaḥ ca parihīyate
ca tvām dṛṣṭvā tapoyuktam śarīram punaḥ dhāritam
17. Indeed, having fully beheld you here, my ascetic practice (tapas) seems to diminish. Yet, seeing you, my body, dedicated to (tapas), is sustained anew.
