महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-44, verse-23

इत्युक्तवचनं तात नृपो राजानमब्रवीत् ।
न मामर्हसि धर्मज्ञ परित्यक्तुमनागसम् ॥२३॥
23. ityuktavacanaṁ tāta nṛpo rājānamabravīt ,
na māmarhasi dharmajña parityaktumanāgasam.
23. iti uktavacanam tāta nṛpaḥ rājānam abravīt |
na mām arhasi dharmajña parityaktum anāgasam
23. O dear one, after these words were spoken, the king spoke to the (other) king: 'O knower of natural law (dharma), you ought not to abandon me, who am innocent.'
