वसिष्ठ उवाच ।
देवतास्ते प्रयच्छन्ति सुवर्णं ये ददत्युत ।
अग्निर्हि देवताः सर्वाः सुवर्णं च तदात्मकम् ॥३६॥

devatāste prayacchanti suvarṇaṁ ye dadatyuta ,
agnirhi devatāḥ sarvāḥ suvarṇaṁ ca tadātmakam.

36. Vasiṣṭha said: "Those who offer gold, the deities bestow their blessings upon them. Indeed, Agni is the embodiment of all deities, and gold is his very essence."
