यद्यहं नार्चयेयं वै ईशानं वरदं शिवम् ।
आत्मानं नार्चयेत्कश्चिदिति मे भावितं मनः ।
मया प्रमाणं हि कृतं लोकः समनुवर्तते ॥२२॥

22. yadyahaṁ nārcayeyaṁ vai īśānaṁ varadaṁ śivam ,

mayā pramāṇaṁ hi kṛtaṁ lokaḥ samanuvartate.

22.
If I indeed do not worship Īśāna, the boon-giving Śiva, then no one would worship the (ātman) Self; such is the conviction of my mind. For a standard has been set by me, and the world follows it.
