महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-99, verse-8

स तार्यमाणो यमुनां मामुपेत्याब्रवीत्तदा ।
सान्त्वपूर्वं मुनिश्रेष्ठः कामार्तो मधुरं बहु ॥८॥

8. sa tāryamāṇo yamunāṁ māmupetyābravīttadā ,
sāntvapūrvaṁ muniśreṣṭhaḥ kāmārto madhuraṁ bahu.

8. saḥ tāryamāṇaḥ yamunām mām upetya abravīt tadā
sāntva-pūrvam muni-śreṣṭhaḥ kāma-ārtaḥ madhuram bahu

8. Then, while being ferried across the Yamunā, that best among sages, overcome by desire, approached me and spoke many gentle and sweet words.

8. בעודו מועבר אל מעבר לנהר יַמוּנָה, ניגש אליי אותו קדוש נעלה, שהיה מעונה מתשוקה, ודיבר אליי הרבה בדברים מתוקים ומרגיעים.
