महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-99, verse-12

ततो मामाह स मुनिर्गर्भमुत्सृज्य मामकम् ।
द्वीपेऽस्या एव सरितः कन्यैव त्वं भविष्यसि ॥१२॥
12. tato māmāha sa munirgarbhamutsṛjya māmakam ,
dvīpe'syā eva saritaḥ kanyaiva tvaṁ bhaviṣyasi.
12. tataḥ mām āha saḥ muniḥ garbham utsṛjya māmakam
dvīpe asyāḥ eva saritaḥ kanyā eva tvam bhaviṣyasi
12. Then that sage said to me, 'After abandoning my child, you will indeed remain a maiden on an island in this very river.'
