महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-99, verse-37

तस्मादहं त्वन्नियोगाद्धर्ममुद्दिश्य कारणम् ।
ईप्सितं ते करिष्यामि दृष्टं ह्येतत्पुरातनम् ॥३७॥
37. tasmādahaṁ tvanniyogāddharmamuddiśya kāraṇam ,
īpsitaṁ te kariṣyāmi dṛṣṭaṁ hyetatpurātanam.
37. tasmāt aham tvanniyogāt dharmam uddiśya kāraṇam
īpsitam te kariṣyāmi dṛṣṭam hi etat purātanam
37. Therefore, by your command, keeping natural law (dharma) as the primary reason, I shall fulfill your desire, for this is indeed an ancient tradition.
