महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-99, verse-19

अर्थमर्थानुबन्धं च धर्मं धर्मानुबन्धनम् ।
कामं कामानुबन्धं च विपरीतान्पृथक्पृथक् ।
यो विचिन्त्य धिया सम्यग्व्यवस्यति स बुद्धिमान् ॥१९॥
19. arthamarthānubandhaṁ ca dharmaṁ dharmānubandhanam ,
kāmaṁ kāmānubandhaṁ ca viparītānpṛthakpṛthak ,
yo vicintya dhiyā samyagvyavasyati sa buddhimān.

19. Whoever, having properly considered with wisdom and distinctly, wealth and its connections, (natural law) [dharma] and its connections, and desire and its connections, as well as their opposites, and then determines (his course) with discernment—that person is truly intelligent.
