महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-58, verse-47

तथैव च समानीय गन्धर्वाप्सरसां गणान् ।
उवाच भगवान्सर्वानिदं वचनमुत्तमम् ।
स्वैरंशैः संप्रसूयध्वं यथेष्टं मानुषेष्विति ॥४७॥

47. tathaiva ca samānīya gandharvāpsarasāṁ gaṇān ,
uvāca bhagavānsarvānidaṁ vacanamuttamam ,
svairaṁśaiḥ saṁprasūyadhvaṁ yatheṣṭaṁ mānuṣeṣviti.

47. tathā eva ca samānīya gandharvāpsarasām
gaṇān uvāca bhagavān sarvān idam
vacanam uttamam svaiḥ aṃśaiḥ
samprasūyadhvam yathā iṣṭam mānuṣeṣu iti

47. And similarly, having assembled the hosts of Gandharvas and Apsarases, the Lord spoke this excellent instruction to all of them: "Be born among humans with your own portions as you wish."
