महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-58, verse-40

अथ विज्ञापयामास भूमिस्तं शरणार्थिनी ।
संनिधौ लोकपालानां सर्वेषामेव भारत ॥४०॥
40. atha vijñāpayāmāsa bhūmistaṁ śaraṇārthinī ,
saṁnidhau lokapālānāṁ sarveṣāmeva bhārata.

40. Then, O Bhārata, the Earth, seeking refuge, humbly petitioned him in the presence of all the guardians of the worlds.
