स तद्दृष्ट्वा महदाश्चर्यरूपं जग्राह पादौ सत्यवत्याः सुतस्य ।
नैतच्चित्रं परमर्षे त्वयीति प्रसन्नचेताः स उवाच चैनम् ॥४०॥

40. Having witnessed that greatly wondrous form, he clasped the feet of Satyavatī's son (Vyāsa). With a cheerful heart, he then said to him, "O great sage, this is no surprise in you."
