स प्राञ्जलिर्विनतेनाननेन प्रवेपमानः सहसैवमुक्तः ।
उवाच चेदं बहुरूपमुग्रं द्रष्टा शेषस्य भगवंस्त्वं भवाद्य ॥२३॥

He (Indra), trembling, with folded hands and a bowed face, thus suddenly addressed, spoke this to the multi-formed, fierce one (Shiva): "O Lord, may you now be the witness to the end (śeṣa)."
