महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-38

दिव्यैर्वस्त्रैररजोभिः सुवर्णैर्माल्यैश्चाग्र्यैः शोभमानानतीव ।
साक्षात्त्र्यक्षान्वसवो वाथ दिव्यानादित्यान्वा सर्वगुणोपपन्नान् ।
तान्पूर्वेन्द्रानेवमीक्ष्याभिरूपान्प्रीतो राजा द्रुपदो विस्मितश्च ॥३८॥
38. divyairvastrairarajobhiḥ suvarṇai;rmālyaiścāgryaiḥ śobhamānānatīva ,
sākṣāttryakṣānvasavo vātha divyā;nādityānvā sarvaguṇopapannān ,
tānpūrvendrānevamīkṣyābhirūpā;nprīto rājā drupado vismitaśca.
38. divyaiḥ vastraiḥ arajobhiḥ suvarṇaiḥ mālyaiḥ ca agryaiḥ
śobhamānān atīva sākṣāt tryakṣān vasavaḥ vā atha
divyān ādityān vā sarvaguṇopapannān tān pūrvendrān
evam īkṣya abhirūpān prītaḥ rājā drupadaḥ vismitaḥ ca
38. They shone exceedingly with divine, spotless, golden garments and excellent garlands. Endowed with all excellent qualities, they appeared directly as either three-eyed gods (tryakṣa), or Vasus, or divine Ādityas. Seeing these handsome former Indras in this manner, King Drupada became both pleased and astonished.
