महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-15

तमब्रवीद्देवराजो ममेदं त्वं विद्धि विश्वं भुवनं वशे स्थितम् ।
ईशोऽहमस्मीति समन्युरब्रवीद्दृष्ट्वा तमक्षैः सुभृशं प्रमत्तम् ॥१५॥
15. tamabravīddevarājo mamedaṁ; tvaṁ viddhi viśvaṁ bhuvanaṁ vaśe sthitam ,
īśo'hamasmīti samanyurabravī;ddṛṣṭvā tamakṣaiḥ subhṛśaṁ pramattam.
15. tam abravīt devarājaḥ mama idam tvam
viddhi viśvam bhuvanam vaśe sthitam
īśaḥ aham asmi iti samanyuḥ abravīt
dṛṣṭvā tam akṣaiḥ subhṛśam pramattam
15. The king of gods (Indra) said to him, "Understand that this entire universe is under my control." He spoke again, full of wrath, "I am the lord," having seen him utterly deluded by his senses.
