महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-17

यदा तु पर्याप्तमिहास्य क्रीडया तदा देवीं रुदतीं तामुवाच ।
आनीयतामेष यतोऽहमारान्मैनं दर्पः पुनरप्याविशेत ॥१७॥
17. yadā tu paryāptamihāsya krīḍayā; tadā devīṁ rudatīṁ tāmuvāca ,
ānīyatāmeṣa yato'hamārā;nmainaṁ darpaḥ punarapyāviśeta.
17. yadā tu paryāptam iha asya krīḍayā
tadā devīm rudatīm tām uvāca
ānīyatām eṣaḥ yataḥ aham ārāt
mā enam darpaḥ punaḥ api āviśeta
17. But when his divine play (krīḍā) here was sufficient, he then spoke to the weeping goddess, saying, "Let him be brought here, for I am close by, lest arrogance (darpa) possess him again."
