महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-20

स तद्विवृत्य शिखरं महागिरेस्तुल्यद्युतींश्चतुरोऽन्यान्ददर्श ।
स तानभिप्रेक्ष्य बभूव दुःखितः कच्चिन्नाहं भविता वै यथेमे ॥२०॥

20. sa tadvivṛtya śikharaṁ mahāgire;stulyadyutīṁścaturo'nyāndadarśa ,
sa tānabhiprekṣya babhūva duḥkhitaḥ; kaccinnāhaṁ bhavitā vai yatheme.

20. saḥ tat vivṛtya śikharam mahāgireḥ
tulyadyutīn ca caturaḥ anyān dadarśa
saḥ tān abhiprekṣya babhūva duḥkhitaḥ
kaccit na aham bhavitā vai yathā ime

20. Having ascended that peak of the great mountain, he saw four others of equal splendor. Looking at them, he became distressed, thinking, "Surely I will not become like these, will I?"
