महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-29

तेषां कामं भगवानुग्रधन्वा प्रादादिष्टं सन्निसर्गाद्यथोक्तम् ।
तां चाप्येषां योषितं लोककान्तां श्रियं भार्यां व्यदधान्मानुषेषु ॥२९॥
29. teṣāṁ kāmaṁ bhagavānugradhanvā; prādādiṣṭaṁ sannisargādyathoktam ,
tāṁ cāpyeṣāṁ yoṣitaṁ lokakāntāṁ; śriyaṁ bhāryāṁ vyadadhānmānuṣeṣu.
29. teṣām kāmam bhagavān ugradhanvā
prādāt iṣṭam sannisargāt yathā uktam
tām ca api eṣām yoṣitam lokakāntām
śriyam bhāryām vyadadhāt mānuṣeṣu
29. The divine one, Ugradhanvan (meaning 'fierce-bowed', referring to Krishna or Shiva), granted their desired wish exactly as it had been stated, according to the proper divine arrangement. He also created for them that woman, beloved by the world, Śrī (Lakṣmī), as a wife among humans.
