महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-22

उक्तस्त्वेवं विभुना देवराजः प्रवेपमानो भृशमेवाभिषङ्गात् ।
स्रस्तैरङ्गैरनिलेनेव नुन्नमश्वत्थपत्रं गिरिराजमूर्ध्नि ॥२२॥
22. uktastvevaṁ vibhunā devarājaḥ; pravepamāno bhṛśamevābhiṣaṅgāt ,
srastairaṅgairanileneva nunna;maśvatthapatraṁ girirājamūrdhni.
22. uktaḥ tu evam vibhunā devarājaḥ
pravepamānaḥ bhṛśam eva abhiṣaṅgāt
srastaiḥ aṅgaiḥ anilena iva nunnam
aśvatthapatram girirājamūrdhni
22. Thus addressed by the Lord (Shiva), the King of Gods (Indra) trembled intensely from the shock, his limbs drooping like a Pippala leaf (aśvattha) pushed by the wind on the peak of the king of mountains.
