महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-27

पूर्वेन्द्रा ऊचुः ।
गमिष्यामो मानुषं देवलोकाद्दुराधरो विहितो यत्र मोक्षः ।
देवास्त्वस्मानादधीरञ्जनन्यां धर्मो वायुर्मघवानश्विनौ च ॥२७॥
27. pūrvendrā ūcuḥ ,
gamiṣyāmo mānuṣaṁ devalokā;ddurādharo vihito yatra mokṣaḥ ,
devāstvasmānādadhīrañjananyāṁ; dharmo vāyurmaghavānaśvinau ca.
27. pūrvāḥ indrāḥ ūcuḥ gamiṣyāmaḥ mānuṣam
devalokāt durādharaḥ vihitaḥ yatra
mokṣaḥ devāḥ tu asmān ādadīran jananyām
dharmaḥ vāyuḥ maghavān aśvinau ca
27. The former Indras said, 'We shall descend to the human world from the divine realm, where liberation (mokṣa), though difficult to attain, has been prescribed. As for us, the gods—Dharma, Vayu, Maghavan (Indra), and the Ashvins—will place us in mothers.'
