व्यास उवाच ।
तां गच्छन्तीमन्वगच्छत्तदानीं सोऽपश्यदारात्तरुणं दर्शनीयम् ।
सिंहासनस्थं युवतीसहायं क्रीडन्तमक्षैर्गिरिराजमूर्ध्नि ॥१४॥

14. vyāsa uvāca ,
tāṁ gacchantīmanvagacchattadānīṁ; so'paśyadārāttaruṇaṁ darśanīyam ,
siṁhāsanasthaṁ yuvatīsahāyaṁ; krīḍantamakṣairgirirājamūrdhni.

14. vyāsaḥ uvāca tām gacchantīm anvagacchat
tadānīm saḥ apaśyat ārāt taruṇam
darśanīyam siṃhāsanastham yuvatīsahāyam
krīḍantam akṣaiḥ girirājamūrdhni

14. Vyāsa said: At that time, he followed her as she departed. From nearby, he then saw a handsome young man seated on a throne, accompanied by a young woman, playing dice on the summit of the king of mountains.

14. וְיָאסַה אמר, אז הלך אחריה בעודה הולכת, ומקרוב ראה צעיר נאה למראה, יושב על כס מלכות ולצידו אישה צעירה, משחק בקוביות על פסגת מלך ההרים.
