ततः शक्रः स्पृष्टमात्रस्तया तु स्रस्तैरङ्गैः पतितोऽभूद्धरण्याम् ।
तमब्रवीद्भगवानुग्रतेजा मैवं पुनः शक्र कृथाः कथंचित् ॥१८॥

18. tataḥ śakraḥ spṛṣṭamātrastayā tu; srastairaṅgaiḥ patito'bhūddharaṇyām ,
tamabravīdbhagavānugratejā; maivaṁ punaḥ śakra kṛthāḥ kathaṁcit.

srastaiḥ aṅgaiḥ patitaḥ abhūt dharaṇyām
tam abravīt bhagavān ugratejāḥ
mā evam punaḥ śakra kṛthāḥ kathaṃcit

18. Then, just as Indra (śakra) was touched by her, he fell to the ground with slackened limbs. The divine one (Bhagavān) of fierce energy then said to him, "O Indra (śakra), do not ever act in such a way again."
