महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-189, verse-34

कथं हि स्त्री कर्मणोऽन्ते महीतलात्समुत्तिष्ठेदन्यतो दैवयोगात् ।
यस्या रूपं सोमसूर्यप्रकाशं गन्धश्चाग्र्यः क्रोशमात्रात्प्रवाति ॥३४॥

34. kathaṁ hi strī karmaṇo'nte mahītalā;tsamuttiṣṭhedanyato daivayogāt ,
yasyā rūpaṁ somasūryaprakāśaṁ; gandhaścāgryaḥ krośamātrātpravāti.

34. katham hi strī karmaṇaḥ ante mahītalāt
samuttiṣṭhet anyataḥ daivayogāt
yasyāḥ rūpam somasūryaprakāśam
gandhaḥ ca agryaḥ krośamātrāt pravāti

34. How indeed could a woman, at the conclusion of a ritual (karma), arise from the surface of the earth, or otherwise by divine power (daivayoga)? Her form shines like the moon and sun, and her excellent fragrance spreads for a distance of a krośa (about two miles).

34. כיצד אחרת הייתה אישה קמה מפני האדמה בסוף הטקס מתוך סידור אלוהי, אישה שצורתה זוהרת כירח וכשמש, וריחה המעולה נישא למרחק של קְרוֹשַׁה אחת.
