O blessed one, whose mind is dissolving (vigalanmanaḥ), here indeed, the state of the dissolved individual self (ātman) is referred to as 'pure being' (sattva). This (pure) state does not again fall into an impure condition, just as copper, having attained the state of gold, does not revert.
