Indeed, the mind (cetaḥ) is nothing but latent impressions (vāsanā). In the absence of these impressions, the supreme state (pada) is realized. This ultimate reality (tattvam) transforms into knowledge (jñāna), and they declare that true knowledge (jñāna) is (self-)inquiry.
