एवं विपक्वगर्भास्ता नाभीकमलपल्लवे ।
सुवते स्म मृदून्यण्डान्यथ वल्ल्य इवाङ्कुरान् ॥ १५ ॥

15. Thus, those (geese), whose pregnancies had matured, laid soft eggs on the sprout of the navel-lotus, just as vines produce shoots.
